Grilled Pork Chops

Grilled Pork Chops are an excellent dinner for any night of the week. Pork chops are quick and easy on the grill and can be on the table in no time at all. 

Brown Sugar Pork Chops are one of our all time favorites along with these Garlic and Onion Pork Chops for busy weeknights. You just can’t go wrong with pork chops on the grill.

Ingredients for Grilled Pork Chops:

  • Pork Chops ~ Thick cut boneless or bone-in
  • Olive Oil
  • Dry Rub ~ We used our Steak Rub on these, you can substitute your favorite seasoning blend.

How to Grill Pork Chops:

  • Prepare a grill fire to about 350° with hickory or pecan chunks for great smoke flavor.
  • Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and coat with dry rub on both sides.

  • Cook pork chops over indirect grill fire with the lid closed about 5 minutes.

  • Turn pork chops and continue to cook another 8 – 10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145° using a digital meat thermometer.

  • Remove from grill and allow to rest about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

How to Store and Reheat:

Store leftover pork chops in an airtight container or zip top baggie in the refrigerator up to 4 days.

To reheat, slice pork chops and place in an olive oil coated skillet. Cook over medium heat about 2 minutes, flip the pork chop slices and continue to cook 3- 5 minutes until heated through.

Grilled Vegetable Rice Pilaf is our favorite side dish for grilled pork chops. Garlic Butter Potatoes are another great option and you can’t go wrong with Grilled Corn on the Cob and Garlic Bread for a complete meal.

  4. Cook over indirect fire with the grill closed for 5 minutes. Flip pork chops and continue to cook another 8 - 10 minutes until pork chops reach 145° using a digital meat thermometer.
  5. Remove from grill and allow to rest 10 minutes before serving.

Notes
