Ingredients for Brown Sugar Garlic Pork Chops

  • Pork Chops – Center Cut Loin Chops or Bone-In Chops
  • Olive Oil
  • Spice Rub: Brown sugar, granulated garlic, kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, dry mustard and red pepper flakes.


Step-By- Step Instructions for Brown Sugar Pork Chops

  1. Set pork chops out to come to room temperature while you prepare your grill fire to about 350°. Adding hickory or pecan chunks to your hot coals will add delicious smoke flavor.

  1. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Drizzle pork chops with olive oil on both sides.

  1. Mix brown sugar with garlic and spices in a small bowl. Sprinkle garlic and brown sugar mixture over pork chops.

  1. Use your fingers to press the rub into the pork chops.

  1. Grill pork chops over indirect heat with the lid closed about 7 minutes.

  1. Flip the pork chops and continue to cook until pork chops 145° internal temperature with a digital meat thermometer.
  2. Remove from grill and allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing for the best results.

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • cup Best Dry Rub

Instructions

  • Prepare a grill fire to 350° with hickory or pecan chunks for smoke flavor.
  • Pat pork chops dry with paper towels Drizzle pork chops with olive oil and sprinkle with dry rub on both sides, pressing the rub down into the pork.

    1. You can cook them on the stove top or in the oven. Oven temperature should be 350°, should be close to the same cook time. Use a digital thermometer to make sure pork chops are cooked to 145°.

  1. When you pan fry, make sure you watch them closely, they will burn easily. I cut down on the brown sugar and garlic powder. Very flavorful!

      I know they would be great in the air fryer. I haven’t tried it yet but I would think temperature around 370° and depending on how thick your chops are for cooking time. I would think 10- 12 minutes but use a digital thermometer for the best results.
