Ingredients for Italian Chicken Thighs

  • Skin-on boneless chicken thighs
  • Yellow mustard
  • Maple syrup
  • Granulated garlic
  • Dried basil
  • Dried oregano
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper
  • Out Grilling SPG Seasoning or your favorite grilling rub
  • Bell peppers, sliced
  • Onions, sliced

How to Grill Italian Chicken Thighs

  1. In a bowl, combine yellow mustard, maple syrup, granulated garlic, dried basil, dried oregano, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  2. Coat the meat side of the chicken thighs generously with the mustard mixture, spreading evenly.
  3. Roll the chicken thighs up and place on a pan, skin side up. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with rub.

  1. Grill chicken thighs over indirect heat for about 15-20 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165°F using a digital meat thermometer.

  1. Cook peppers in onions in a skillet coated with olive oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until softened. Keep warm until ready to serve.

  1. Remove chicken from the grill and let chicken rest for 5 minutes.

  • 4 chicken thighs skin on, boneless
  • 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 ½ tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon granulate garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil divided use
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Out Grilling SPG Seasoning or grilling rub

  • Prepare a grill fire to 350°.
