Can this be water bath canned ?
Hi Tracey,
I am not a canning expert and have not tried it. We usually just keep it in the refrigerator and we use it up pretty fast.
~ Milisa
Yes, it can. I do this to most of my homemade bbq sauces to extend life a little longer. I’ve tried theirs and done the same thing.
Hi, I was just curious if you did can the peach bbq sauce and how did it turn out? I would love to can it? Thanks
Hi Corrina,
We haven’t tried it yet, so I’m not sure but really can’t see why it wouldn’t work.
~ Milisa
Can fresh peaches be used?
Hi Louise,
I haven’t tested it with fresh peaches. I think it would work if you add a bit of brown sugar to the peaches.
~ Milisa
Made it today with 3 fresh peaches and extra 1/4 c. Brown sugar. Thickened with cornstarch BBQ chicken. Delicious.
I made this and it was good, some people thought it had to much of an Asian flavor due to the ginger. maybe I used the wrong ginger, I used the minced ginger in the tube. can the ginger be left out and still be good. thank you
Hi James,
You can leave out the ginger, it can be overpowering.
~ Milisa
thank you very much
A little salty but otherwise great!
Hi Michael,
Glad you got the chance to try it. I might look at reducing the salt and adjust the recipe, thanks for the feedback.

I made this and I was a little heavy handed with the red pepper flakes. I added a big splash of peach schnapps and OMG!!!! It takes it to a whole different level!! Really brings out the peach flavors!
Hi Ellen,
We make Peach BBQ Sauce regularly and we will have to try adding the peach schnapps, great idea! Thanks for stopping by with the great idea.

amazing bbq sauce. I have made it several times now. But can it be canned with a water bath? if so how long should I boil it for?
Hi Haden,
I have not tried canning it, I am not sure how it would do.
~ Milisa
Added some bourbon to it and it was really good!!
Hi Lauren,
That is a genius idea!
