A simple apple cider marinade gives these pork chops delicious flavor and keeps them tender and juicy as they cook on the grill. Serve them up with garlic butter baked potatoes and garlic bread for a family favorite dinner.
Ingredients for Apple Cider Pork Chops:
- Pork Chops
- Apple Cider
- Brown Sugar
- Granulated Garlic
- Kosher Salt
- Ground Rosemary
- Dry Mustard
How to Grill Apple Cider Pork Chops:
- Make apple cider marinade by adding apple cider, brown sugar, salt, rosemary and dry mustard to a small saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, bring to a boil. Cook 5 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Speed up this process by placing marinade in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
- Place pork chops on a cutting board and tenderize with a large tined fork or tip of a knife.
- Put pork chops in a zip top baggie and pour cooled marinade over pork chops. Seal and turn to get marinade all over pork chops.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours or until ready to grill, up to 24 hours.
- Remove pork chops to counter while you prepare a grill fire to about 300°.
- Cook pork chops over indirect heat with the grill closed about 5- 8 minutes.
- Turn pork chops and continue to cook with the lid closed for another 5 minutes or until pork chops reach internal temperature of 145° using a digital thermometer.
- Remove from grill, tent with foil and allow to rest 10 minutes before serving.
How to Store and Reheat:
Store leftover pork chops wrapped in plastic wrap in the refrigerator up to 4 days.
To reheat quickly, slice pork chops and place in a skillet with a few tablespoons of water. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for about 6 minutes or until heated through.

- 4 pork chops
- 2 cups apple cider
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground rosemary
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
Instructions
Add apple cider, brown sugar, salt, rosemary and dry mustard to a small saucepan and place over medium heat
Whisk to combine and bring mixture to a boil for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Cool it quickly in the freezer for about 15 minutes.

Turn pork chops and continue to cook with the lid closed for another 5 minutes or until pork chops reach internal temperature of 145° using a digital thermometer.
Remove from grill, tent with foil and allow to rest 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
