Making your own spice blends is a great way to control the salt and heat that you like in your recipes. Our Creole Seasoning blend doesn’t have any salt and makes a great way to add a lot of flavor to soups, casseroles, vegetables and meat.

Ingredients Needed

  • Granulated Garlic
  • Granulated Onion
  • Chili Powder
  • Dried Oregano
  • Dried Basil
  • Dried Thyme
  • Black Pepper
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Dried Chives
  • Cayenne Pepper

Step By Step Directions

  • In a bowl, add all of the ingredients. Use a whisk or fork to blend well.
  • Store in an airtight container in a pantry cabinet up to 6 months. Stir before using.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 ½ tablespoons granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon granulated onion
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoons dried chives
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper – or more to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, add smoked paprika, garlic, onion, chili powder, black pepper, basil, oregano, thyme, chives and cayenne pepper. Whisk together until well combined.
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool dark place up to 6 months.
