If you like A1 Steak Sauce then you are going to love this homemade steak sauce. Our version is less sharp with a bit of sweetness from the brown sugar and no ketchup. It’s amazing to drizzle over any steak dinner. 

Steak Sauce ingredients

Ingredients for Steak Sauce:

  • Prune Juice
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Soy Sauce
  • Brown Sugar
  • Onion Powder
  • Granulated Garlic
  • Kosher Salt
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Dry Mustard
  • Ground Chili Flakes

How to Make Steak Sauce:

  • In a pan add the prune juice, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar and soy sauce. Add the brown sugar, onion powder, granulated garlic, kosher salt, dry mustard and ground chili flakes. 
  • Whisk together until well combined.

  • Cook over medium heat, whisking occasionally. Bring the mixture to a low boil.

  • Remove from heat and cool slightly before serving.

Storage:

  • Store homemade steak sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 months. Shake well before using.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups prune juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
