Honey Mustard Sauce
Honey Mustard Sauce is a super quick and easy recipe that you will want to keep on hand for all of your favorite sandwiches and also works for a dipping sauce or salad dressing!
Homemade sauces could be their own food group at our house and we are huge fans of any kind of mustard. Our Rosemary Mustard BBQ Sauce is always a hit for grilling everything from chicken to burgers.
Ingredients for Honey Mustard Sauce
- Spicy Brown Mustard ~ Yellow mustard or dijon mustard are both great substitutions.
- Honey ~ Local honey is amazing if you can get it.
- Sour Cream ~ Substitute mayonnaise if you don’t have sour cream. The sour cream thickens the sauce and adds a bit of creaminess.
- Granulated Garlic ~ For flavor.
- Onion Powder ~ For flavor.
- Smoked Paprika ~ Adds a bit of smoky flavor.
How to Make Honey Mustard Sauce
- Add spicy brown mustard, honey and sour cream to a small bowl with garlic, onion powder and smoked paprika.
- Whisk together until well combined.
- Pour into a small air tight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
How Long Will Honey Mustard Sauce Keep?
- Honey Mustard Sauce can be refrigerated up to 4 weeks, stir before using.
