Ingredients for Cranberry Orange Glaze

  • Cranberry Sauce – We use both whole berry cranberry sauce and jellied cranberry sauce for this recipe. Either will work fine if you don’t have both kinds.
  • Orange Marmalade – There isn’t a good substitute for orange marmalade, it is what makes the true orange flavor come through in this glaze recipe.
  • Brown Sugar– Adds sweet caramelized flavor to the glaze.
  • Worcestershire Sauce – Adds depth of flavor and savory notes.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar – Adds a tanginess to the sauce that balances out the sweet.
  • Brown Mustard – Dijon will work also and adds a savory flavor that pairs perfectly with meats.
  • Granulated Garlic – A must-have for seasoning meat.
  • Onion Powder– Adds savory flavor that pairs well with the garlic.
  • Black Pepper– For just the right amount of spice and heat.
  • Kosher Salt – To balance the sweetness and bring out the other flavors.
  • Ground Cinnamon– Just a bit of cinnamon is delicious with the cranberry and orange flavors.
