Cranberry Orange Glaze is a flavorful and delicious glaze for ham, turkey, chicken or meatballs. Made with canned cranberry sauce and orange marmalade.
Ingredients for Cranberry Orange Glaze
- Cranberry Sauce – We use both whole berry cranberry sauce and jellied cranberry sauce for this recipe. Either will work fine if you don’t have both kinds.
- Orange Marmalade – There isn’t a good substitute for orange marmalade, it is what makes the true orange flavor come through in this glaze recipe.
- Brown Sugar– Adds sweet caramelized flavor to the glaze.
- Worcestershire Sauce – Adds depth of flavor and savory notes.
- Apple Cider Vinegar – Adds a tanginess to the sauce that balances out the sweet.
- Brown Mustard – Dijon will work also and adds a savory flavor that pairs perfectly with meats.
- Granulated Garlic – A must-have for seasoning meat.
- Onion Powder– Adds savory flavor that pairs well with the garlic.
- Black Pepper– For just the right amount of spice and heat.
- Kosher Salt – To balance the sweetness and bring out the other flavors.
- Ground Cinnamon– Just a bit of cinnamon is delicious with the cranberry and orange flavors.
