Ingredients for Maple Glazed Salmon:
- Salmon Filet
- Maple Syrup
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Granulated Garlic
- Coarse Ground Pepper
- Dry Mustard
How to Grill Maple Glazed Salmon:
- In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, pepper and dry mustard.
- Prepare a grill fire to 325° using pecan for smoke flavor.
- Place salmon on the grill over indirect fire with the skin side down.
- Brush maple glaze over salmon in a thick layer. Close the grill and cook 5 minutes.
- Add another layer of glaze over the salmon.
- Continue to cook until the salmon reaches 145° using a digital meat thermometer.
- Remove salmon from the grill onto a baking sheet. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
How to Store and Reheat:
- Store salmon wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
- Reheat in a skillet with melted butter or a little olive oil over medium heat, flip after about 2 minutes and continue to cook until heated through.

Tips for Grilled Salmon:
- Salmon cooks quickly on the grill, so it’s important to keep a close watch on it. An instant read, digital meat thermometer is essential for perfectly cooked salmon. The USDA recommends cooking fish to 145°. If you prefer your salmon cooked to medium, grill to 130°.
- Grill salmon skin side down. The skin will protect the flesh from sticking to the grill and cooking too fast.
- Don’t flip the salmon, it will cook through without being flipped.
- Smoke flavor is a delicious compliment for salmon. Pecan is our favorite for adding smoke flavor to fish. Oak and hickory are also great options.
