- Plum Preserves
- Brown Sugar
- Pineapple Juice
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Soy Sauce
- Granulated Garlic
- Ground Ginger
- Kosher Salt
- Ground Chili Flakes or Red Pepper
🔥 Step By Step Directions
- Add the plum preserves, brown sugar, pineapple juice, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, granulated garlic, ground ginger and salt to a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, whisking to combine. Continue to cook 5- 8 minutes until brown sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat.
- Pour into jars and cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
🔥Recipe Notes
For a spicy kick, use up to a tablespoon of crushed chili flakes.
Storage: Store in an airtight container up to 3 months in the refrigerator.
Uses: Great for grilling chicken, pork or shrimp. Delicious as a dipping sauce for egg rolls, chicken strips or wontons.

Plum Sauce
Ingredients
- 18 ounces plum preserves
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground chili flakes or red pepper
Instructions
- Add plum preserves, brown sugar, pineapple juice, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and salt to a saucepan.
- Whisk until combined and cook over medium heat. Cook, stirring often until brown sugar is dissolved and sauce is heated through, about 8 - 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and pour into jars. Cool to room temperature.
- Cover with an airtight lid and refrigerate up to 3 months.
