How to Grill Honey Mustard Pork Steaks:
- Set pork steaks out to come to room temperature and prepare a grill fire to about 300°. We used pecan for smoke flavor but hickory is also a great option.
- Pat pork steaks dry with paper towels.
- Mix up honey mustard by combining honey, prepared yellow mustard, chili flakes, onion flakes, granulated garlic, salt and pepper.
- Reserve 1/4 cup for serving with the pork.
- Place pork steaks over direct fire and cook for 2 minutes.
- Brush with a heavy coat of honey mustard and flip. Move to indirect heat and brush with honey mustard. Close the lid and cook for 10-12 minutes. Cook pork until internal temperature reaches 145°.
- Remove from grill and allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing.
The honey mustard is a great glaze to use on any grilled pork, chicken or shrimp! It’s also a great dipping sauce and easy to mix up while you are cooking. It’s better than anything you get from the drive thru!
