Ingredients for Chicken Fried Rice

  • Chicken thighs
  • Olive oil
  • Out Grilling Sweet BBQ Rub
  • Soy sauce
  • Toasted sesame oil

How to Make Blackstone Chicken Fried Rice

  1. Prep the Ingredients – Dice the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Slice the bell peppers, carrots, and green onions.

  1. Make sure your cooked rice is chilled for best results. I spread it onto a sheet pan an refrigerated it for about an hour.
  2. Mix the Sauce – In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and toasted sesame oil.
  3. Season the Chicken – Toss the diced chicken with olive oil and Out Grilling Sweet BBQ Rub. Pour half of the soy sauce mixture over the chicken and stir to coat evenly.

  1. Heat the Blackstone Griddle – Preheat to medium-high heat. We season ours with beef tallow and add a light coating as the griddle heats up, use your favorite high smoke point oil.
  2. Sauté the Veggies – Add the bell peppers, carrots, white parts of green onions and minced garlic. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until slightly softened.
  3. Cook the Chicken – Push the veggies to the side. Place the seasoned chicken on the hot griddle. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add the Rice – Spread the chilled rice over the griddle and allow it to crisp up slightly. Drizzle the remaining soy sauce mixture over the rice and stir to combine everything together.

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 6 cups cooked white rice chilled

  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove grated or finely minced

Instructions
