Chicken Teriyaki Skewers
Chicken Teriyaki Skewers are a quick and easy meal made with chicken breasts and homemade teriyaki sauce. Say goodbye to boring chicken dinners with this sweet and savory teriyaki chicken.

🔥 Ingredients Needed:
- Chicken Breasts
- Soy Sauce
- Toasted Sesame Oil
- Rice Vinegar
- Honey
- Brown Sugar
- Granulated Garlic
- Ground Ginger
- Cornstarch
🔥 Step By Step Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine the soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and cornstarch.
- Cook over medium heat, whisking until well combined. Continue to cook until sauce is slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Reserve half of the sauce for serving.
- Cut chicken breasts into thin slices. Set aside.
- Thread chicken onto skewers.
- Brush with teriyaki sauce.
- Refrigerate while you prepare a grill fire. We used our Big Green Egg ceramic grill with lump charcoal.
- Grill chicken for 5 minutes with the grill closed. Turn the chicken skewers and cook 2 minutes.
- Brush with additional teriyaki sauce.
- Continue to cook until chicken reaches 165° using a digital meat thermometer.
- Remove from grill and serve immediately.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days.
- Reheat chicken in a skillet coated with olive oil, adding additional sauce if desired over medium heat. Cook, stirring often until heated through.

Chicken Teriyaki Skewers
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds chicken breasts sliced into thin strips
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- In a saucepan, add soy sauce, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and corn starch.
- Whisk until combined and cook over medium heat until sauces starts to bubble and is thickened.
- Set aside and cool before using. Divide sauce, reserving half for serving.
- Thread chicken pieces onto skewers.
- Brush with teriyaki sauce in a thick layer. Refrigerate while you prepare a grill fire.
- Prepare a grill fire to 350°.
- Cook chicken with the grill closed for 5 minutes.
- Brush chicken with teriyaki sauce and turn the skewers.
- Continue to cook until chicken reaches 165° using a digital meat thermometer.
- Remove from grill and serve with reserved teriyaki sauce if desired.
