Ingredients for Bacon Smash Burgers
For the burgers
- Ground beef
- Out Grilling SPG Seasoning or your favorite grill seasoning
- Bacon
- American cheese
- Lettuce
- Red onion
- Burger buns
For the Smash Burger Sauce
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Sweet pickles (diced)
- Granulated garlic
- Granulated onion
- Smoked paprika
- Kosher salt
- Black pepper
Step-by-Step Instructions


- Make the smash burger sauce – In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, sweet pickles, granulated garlic, granulated onion, smoked paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.



- Form Burgers – Divide the ground beef into ¼ pound patties.
- Cook the bacon – Cook bacon on the Blackstone over medium heat or bake the bacon until crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain.
- Cook the burgers – Place the beef patties on the hot surface, season with Out Grilling SPG. Smash flat with a spatula or burger press. Cook 2-3 minutes until the edges crisp up.
- Flip and cheese it – Flip the patties, top with American cheese, and cook another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and the burgers hit 165°F internal temp.

Build the burgers – Toast the buns if you like. Spread smash burger sauce on both sides. Add lettuce, red onion, a cheesy patty or two, bacon slices and top bun.

- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- ⅓ cup diced sweet pickles or pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon pickle juice
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon granulated onion
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon fine ground pepper
Instructions
