Ingredients Needed

  • Peach Preserves
  • v8 Juice
  • Pickled or Candied Jalapeños
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Brown Sugar
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Granulated Garlic
  • Onion Flakes
  • Kosher Salt

Step By Step Directions

  • In a saucepan, combine all of the ingredients.

  • Whisk together and cook over medium heat.
  • Bring the mixture to a low boil, stirring often.

Ingredients

  • 18 ounces peach preserves
  • ½ cup V8 Juice
  • ¼ cup diced pickled or candied jalapeños
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • In a medium-size saucepan, combine peach preserves, V8 juice, diced jalapeños, Worcestershire sauce, granulated garlic, smoked paprika and salt.
  • Whisk to combine and cook over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a low boil, stirring often. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • Store in covered jars in the refrigerator up to 3 months.

* For extra spicy sauce, add additional jalapeños, up to 1 cup total.

  1. Sounds great. Can this be processed in a water bath and canned in half pints? It would be nice to have some on the shelf in the pantry.

  2. Well crap. Just noticed the picture shows Ancho Chili Powder… Clicked on the link and followed the recipe exactly, simple and easy, and the kitchen smells great! Bottled everything up and then realized the written recipe didn’t include the chili powder. Could very well taste good, but I may just dump everything back into a pot in the morning and add (guessing 1 tablespoon) of the missing ingredient.

      There’s no ancho chili in the bbq sauce, I think maybe you were looking at our Chili Lime Tacos photo. We use smoked paprika in the jalapeño peach bbq sauce. I hope you enjoy it!
