How to Grill Sweet & Tangy BBQ Chicken Tenders:
- Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
- Place on a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with hickory or pecan chunks for smoke flavor.
- Cook chicken tenders over indirect heat for about 5 minutes.
- Flip chicken and coat with bbq sauce.
- Close the grill and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and brush with bbq sauce.
- Continue to cook until internal temperature reaches 165° using a digital thermometer.
- Remove from grill and rest 5 minutes before serving.
How to Store and Reheat:
Store leftover grilled chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
Slice chicken tenders and reheat in a skillet with additional bbq sauce over low heat. Stir occasionally, cooking about 5 minutes until heated through.

- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup sweet and tangy bbq sauce
Instructions
- Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with hickory or pecan chunks for smoke flavor.
- Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place chicken over indirect grill fire for about 5 minutes with the grill closed.
- Flip chicken and coat with bbq sauce.
