BBQ Chicken is always a hit and it’s easy to grill a big batch for easy meal prep for busy weeknights.  Once you have the grill hot, chicken tenders cook in about 15 minutes.

  • Chicken Tenders
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce

How to Grill Sweet & Tangy BBQ Chicken Tenders:

  • Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  • Place on a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  • Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with hickory or pecan chunks for smoke flavor.
  • Cook chicken tenders over indirect heat for about 5 minutes.

  • Flip chicken and coat with bbq sauce.
  • Close the grill and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken and brush with bbq sauce.

  • Remove from grill and rest 5 minutes before serving.

How to Store and Reheat:

Store leftover grilled chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.

Slice chicken tenders and reheat in a skillet with additional bbq sauce over low heat. Stir occasionally, cooking about 5 minutes until heated through.

  1. Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with hickory or pecan chunks for smoke flavor.
  2. Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place chicken over indirect grill fire for about 5 minutes with the grill closed.
  4. Flip chicken and coat with bbq sauce. 
  5. Close the grill and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Turn chicken and brush with sauce.
  7. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165° using a digital thermometer. 
  8. Remove from grill and rest 5 minutes before serving. 

Notes
