Ingredients Needed for Doritos Chicken Casserole

  • Cooked Chicken
  • Cream Cheese – room temperature
  • Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Green Chiles
  • Granulated Garlic
  • Ground Cumin
  • Kosher Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Nacho Cheese Doritos
  • Cheddar Cheese – Shredded or Mexican Cheese Blend
  • Sliced Green Onions, optional for garnish.
  • Fresh Cilantro, optional for garnish.
  • Salsa for serving
  • Sour Cream for Serving.

Step-By-Step Directions for Doritos Chicken Casserole Recipe

  1. Shred the chicken or chop coarsely.
  2. Add softened cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, green chiles, garlic, ground cumin, salt and pepper to a mixing bowl.
  3. Beat with an electric mixer until well combined or stir with a wooden spoon.
  4. Stir in shredded chicken and mix well.

  1. Crush Doritos and cover the bottom of a baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle half of shredded cheese over the crushed Doritos chips.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture over the cheese in an even layer.
  4. Top with the remaining cheese.

  • 2-3 cups shredded cooked chicken

  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 5 ounce can diced green chiles
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
