  1. Make the Buffalo Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine butter, hot sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic and smoked paprika. Cook over medium heat, whisking until sauce is heated through and honey is melted. Remove from heat and set aside.

  1. Mix the Meatballs: Add ground beef and steak rub to a bowl. Mix well using your hands or a wooden spoon.

  1. Make the Meatballs: Use a medium cookie scoop or soup spoon to make 1 1/2 inch meatballs. Place on a grill pan. Spoon Buffalo sauce over the meatballs.
  2. Grill the Meatballs: Place grill pan over indirect fire and cook with the grill closed for 8 – 10 minutes. Brush with additional sauce and continue to cook until meatballs reach 165° using a digital meat thermometer.

  • Storage: Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days. Freeze in a freezer safe container up to 3 months.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • ¾ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ¼ cup steak rub
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley optional for garnish
  • Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing for serving

  • Prepare a grill fire to 350° using hickory for smoke flavor.
  • In a small saucepan, combine butter, hot sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic and smoked paprika. Cook over medium heat, whisking until sauce is heated through and honey is melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
