Step By Step Directions
In a bowl, add mayo, sour cream, cider vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
Whisk together until well blended.
Add shredded cabbage and carrots.
Stir until well combined.
Slaw can be served immediately or covered and refrigerated until ready to serve.
Recipe Notes
Storage: Store coleslaw in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days. Stir before serving.
Variations: White vinegar can be substituted for cider vinegar.

Coleslaw for BBQ
Ingredients
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 14 ounce bag slaw mix or 6 cups shredded cabbage + 1/2 cup shredded carrrots
Instructions
- Add mayo, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper to a bowl and whisk until well combined.
- Add slaw mix to the bowl and mix throroughly.
- Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
So easy with a bag of coleslaw mix. It was fantastic served with pulled pork!
