Grilling BBQ Burgers

How to Make BBQ Burgers:

  1. Mix ground chuck with spices and seasonings and form into patties. Cover and set aside while you prepare the grill.
  2. Grill burgers at about 300°- 350° flipping to sear on both sides. Brush both sides with homemade barbecue sauce and continue to cook until burgers reach 155° internal temperature.
  3. Remove to a serving tray and cover with foil until ready to serve.
  4. Spread butter over buns and top with shredded cheese. Pop under the broiler or a few minutes or until cheese is melted and buns are lightly toasted.
  5. Top buns with your favorite toppings, lettuce, bbq burgers and onion strings.

I like to lightly toast the buns and a sprinkle of shredded Cabot Cheese is the way to go for an extra layer of deliciousness.
