Remove chicken tenders from packaging and pat dry with paper towels. Place on a rimmed baking sheet.
Brush or spray chicken tenders with olive oil and sprinkle with rub, coating both sides.
Prepare a grill fire to 300° with hickory or pecan for smoke flavor.
Place chicken tenders over indirect heat and cook with the grill closed. Cook for 5 minutes.
Flip the chicken tenders and continue to cook another 8-10 minutes or until chicken reaches 165 degrees using a digital meat thermometer.
Remove chicken from the grill.
- Storage: Store leftover chicken tenders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
- Reheat: Cook chicken in a skillet lightly coated with olive oil, cover the skillet, cooking over medium heat for a few minutes. Flip the chicken and continue to cook another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
