Ingredients

Instructions

  • Divide ground beef into 1/4 pound balls. Flatten into thin patties, about 6 inch patties.
  • Sprinkle one side of each burger patty with steak rub or your favorite all purpose seasoning mix.
  • Prepare a grill fire to 350° using oak or hickory for smoke flavor.
  • Grill burgers over direct fire with the seasoned side up for about 5 minutes.
  • Flip the burgers and sprinkle with additional steak rub.
  • Continue to cook another 3- 5 minutes until burgers are cooked through. Internal temperature for burgers should reach 160°- 165° for well done.
  • Remove burgers to a serving tray.
  • Build the burgers by adding your favorite condiment combo to both sides of the buns. Top with lettuce. Add the burger patty and drizzle with steak sauce. Add crispy bacon and onion strings and add the top buns.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes
