Brown Sugar T-Bone Steaks

Brown Sugar T-Bone Steaks with grilled vegetables is a great dinner for any night of the week and perfect for special occasions or entertaining guests. Tender and juicy T-bone steaks are seasoned with our best dry rub and grilled along with peppers, onions and tomatoes for a flavorful and delicious combination.

Ingredients

  • 4 T-Bone Steaks
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil divided use
  • ½ cup Best Dry Rub divided use
  • 2 cups sliced onions
  • 2 cups sliced sweet bell peppers
  • 2 cups sliced cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  • Allow steaks to come to room temperature about an hour before grilling.
  • Pat steaks dry with paper towels and layer on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with about 2 tablespoons olive oil and sprinkle with dry rub (reserve 2 tablespoons for vegetables)
  • Prepare a grill fire to about 350° with hickory or oak for smoke flavor.
  • Place vegetables in a single layer on a grill pan and drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil and sprinkle with about 2 tablespoons Dry Rub.
  • Add steaks over direct fire and vegetables to indirect fire.
  • Sear steaks for about 5 minutes, flip and move to indirect heat. Cover and cook another 8 - 10 minutes or until steaks reach desired doneness with a digital thermometer.
  • Cook vegetables just until softened.
  • Remove steaks and vegetables from grill and allow steaks to rest 10 minutes before serving with vegetables.

  • Rare:  130°
  • Medium Rare: 140°
  • Medium: 155°
  • Well Done: 165°
