Peach BBQ Baked Beans

Peach BBQ Baked Beans are incredibly delicious and the perfect side dish for any meal on the grill. Sweet and savory with bell peppers, onions and plenty of crispy bacon.

Ingredients

  • 3 15 ounce cans Navy Beans
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 cups diced bell peppers
  • 2 cups diced yellow onion
  • 12 ounces peach bbq sauce recipe below
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven or grill to 375°.
  • Dice Bell Peppers and onions.
  • Rinse and drain the beans, set aside.
  • Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it just starts to crisp. Remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain and cool. 
  • When the bacon is cooled, dice it on a cutting board. Set aside. 
  • Add the diced peppers and onions to the bacon grease and cook over medium heat, stirring often. 
  • When vegetables are softened and start to caramelize, add the peach bbq sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
  • Add the beans, mixing well. 
  • Sprinkle cooked bacon over the top of the beans.
  • Bake or grill, uncovered for 25- 30 minutes or until beans are bubbling around the edges.
  • Remove from oven or grill and serve immediately. 

Notes

Store baked beans in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days.
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat, stirring until heated through.
