Bacon Double Cheeseburgers
Bacon Double Cheeseburgers are double delicious for a family favorite meal. Epic grilled burgers piled high with cheese, bacon, white bbq sauce and all of your favorite toppings. Skip the drive-thru and have dinner on the table in no time at all.

- 2 pounds 80/20 ground beef
- 2 tablespoons Steak Rub
- 8 slices bacon cooked
- 8 slices American cheese
- ½ cup white bbq sauce
- 8 burger buns
- lettuce sliced tomatoes, red onion, pickles for serving
Divide ground beef into 1/4 pound balls. Form into thin patties.
Sprinkle with steak rub on both sides.
Cook the bacon until crispy and drain on a paper towel lined plate.
Prepare a grill fire to 350° using hickory or pecan chunks for smoke flavor.
Cook burgers for about 5 minutes with the grill closed.
Flip the burgers and cook another 3- 5 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°.
Remove from grill and top burger patties with a slice of cheese.
Build the burgers: spread white bbq sauce over buns, layer lettuce, tomato, pickles, 2 cheeseburger patties, bacon slices, another drizzle of white bbq sauce and the top bun.
Serve immediately.
Store burger patties wrapped in plastic wrap or foil in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
To reheat: Reheat in an air fryer on 350° for 3 - 4 minutes. For the stovetop, place patties in a skillet with 2 tablespoons water. Cover and cook over medium for 5- 6 minutes until heated through.
