Prepare a grill fire to 350° with hickory for smoke flavor.
Pat ribs dry with paper towels and place on a baking sheet.
Spray or brush both sides of the ribs with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix up the dry rub.
Sprinkle rub on both sides of the ribs, heavily on the meaty side.
Cook ribs over indirect fire with the grill lid closed about 1 hour 15 minutes.
Check internal temperature using a digital thermometer and continue cooking until ribs reach between 195° and 205°.
Remove from grill to a pan and brush with apricot bbq sauce.
Allow to rest about 10 minutes before slicing.

Store cooled ribs wrapped in plastic wrap or foil in the refrigerator up to 4 days.Freeze in 2 layers of plastic wrap and a layer of foil for up to 3 months. Label with contents and date.Reheat ribs in a single layer in a baking pan in a 350° oven. Brush with additional sauce and cook for about 10- 15 minutes or until heated through.
