Honey Garlic Shrimp

Honey Garlic Shrimp is sweet, smoky and so easy to make! A quick appetizer or main dish to make on the grill this week that is flavorful and oh so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • ¾ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon ground red pepper
  • fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with hickory for smoke flavor.
  • Prepare the honey garlic sauce by adding honey, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper to a saucepan. Heat over low heat just until heated through and well combined. Set aside. 
  • Place shrimp on the grill over indirect heat.
  • Cook for 7- 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145° using a digital thermometer
  • Remove from grill. 
  • Toss into pan with sauce and place over medium heat about 2 minutes until sauce coats shrimp. 
  • Garnish with parsley if desired.
  • Serve immediately. 

Stovetop Directions:

  • Prepare the sauce and cook shrimp in the sauce in a skillet over medium for about 8- 10 minutes, stirring often, until shrimp reaches 145°.

Notes

Store grilled shrimp in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 2 days. 
Reheat in a skillet with a tablespoon or two of water over medium heat for about 2- 3 minutes, stirring often.
