Ingredients
1poundjumbo shrimppeeled and deveined
½cuphoney
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
2teaspoonsapple cider vinegar
¾teaspoongranulated garlic
¾teaspoonkosher salt
½teaspoonblack pepper
⅛teaspoonground red pepper
fresh parsley for garnishoptional
Instructions
Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with hickory for smoke flavor.
Prepare the honey garlic sauce by adding honey, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper to a saucepan. Heat over low heat just until heated through and well combined. Set aside.
Place shrimp on the grill over indirect heat.
Cook for 7- 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145° using a digital thermometer.
Remove from grill.
Toss into pan with sauce and place over medium heat about 2 minutes until sauce coats shrimp.
Garnish with parsley if desired.
Serve immediately.
Stovetop Directions:
Prepare the sauce and cook shrimp in the sauce in a skillet over medium for about 8- 10 minutes, stirring often, until shrimp reaches 145°.
Notes
Store grilled shrimp in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet with a tablespoon or two of water over medium heat for about 2- 3 minutes, stirring often.
