- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup diced onion
- ½ cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cup Peach BBQ Sauce
Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with hickory wood for smoke flavor.
Mix ground beef with beaten eggs, diced onion, brown sugar, Panko, garlic, salt and pepper.
Scoop into meatballs using a cookie scoop or tablespoon measure.
Cook meatballs over indirect heat, using a grill pan if you have large grates with the lid closed.
Continue cooking for 15- 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165° with a digital thermometer.
Remove from grill to a bowl.
Toss with peach bbq sauce.
Place on a serving platter and serve immediately.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days. Meatballs can be frozen in freezer bags up to 3 months.
Reheat in a skillet with additional peach bbq sauce and a tablespoon of water. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 8- 10 minutes.
