Peach BBQ Meatballs

Grilled Peach BBQ Meatballs are tender, juicy and delicious for a bite-sized appetizer. Great for parties and delicious enough to be served as a main dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • ½ cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup Peach BBQ Sauce

Instructions

  • Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with hickory wood for smoke flavor.
  • Mix ground beef with beaten eggs, diced onion, brown sugar, Panko, garlic, salt and pepper. 
  • Scoop into meatballs using a cookie scoop or tablespoon measure.
  • Cook meatballs over indirect heat, using a grill pan if you have large grates with the lid closed.
  • Continue cooking for 15- 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165° with a digital thermometer.
  • Remove from grill to a bowl. 
  • Toss with peach bbq sauce. 
  • Place on a serving platter and serve immediately.  

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days. Meatballs can be frozen in freezer bags up to 3 months.
Reheat in a skillet with additional peach bbq sauce and a tablespoon of water. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 8- 10 minutes.
