Orange BBQ Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup Orange BBQ Sauce recipe below

Instructions

  • Prepare a grill fire to 300° with hickory or oak wood for smoke flavor.
  • Pat pork chops dry with paper towels and drizzle with olive oil on both sides.
  • Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • Grill pork chops over indirect heat with the lid closed about 5 minutes.
  • Flip pork chops and continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 145° using a digital thermometer.
  • Remove pork chops from grill and brush both sides with orange bbq sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

If you have made the orange bbq sauce in advance and refrigerated it, warm sauce before brushing over pork chops for the best results.
