Classic Burgers are always a hit for dinner and a must-have for summer cookouts and barbecues. Our all beef patties are well seasoned and grilled to perfection with hickory smoke. Add your favorite toppings for a simple and delicious meal that everyone can agree on!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • lettuce tomato, red onion for serving plus your favorite condiments

Instructions

  • Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with hickory or oak for wood smoke.
  • Mix the steak rub by combining brown sugar, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper and dry mustard together.
  • Mix seasonings into ground beef and form into 8 patties with an indention in the middle of each.
  • Place over indirect heat and cook with the lid closed for 5 minutes. Flip burgers and continue to cook until burgers reach 165° internal temperature.
  • Remove from grill and serve on buns topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and your favorite condiments.
