- 2 salmon fillets
- ¼ cup butter softened
- 2 tablespoons Out Grilling SPG Seasoning or favorite seasoning salt
- ½ cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce we like Louisiana Hot Sauce
Preheat your grill to 300°F.
Place salmon fillets on a platter and top each with butter.
Season generously with Out Grilling SPG or your favorite seasoning salt.
In a small bowl, stir together maple syrup and hot sauce until well combined.
Place the seasoned salmon fillets directly on the grill grates, skin side down if applicable.
Brush the salmon with the spicy maple glaze, close the grill and continue cooking.
Continue to brush with glaze every 5 minutes while cooking.
Cook until the internal temperature reaches 135°F, using a digital meat thermometer for accuracy.
Remove from the grill and rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
- Spice level: Add additional hot sauce, cayenne pepper or chili flakes for a spicier version.
