Grilled Mushrooms are quick and easy to throw on the grill for a delicious side dish to pair with just about any meal. Seasoned whole mushrooms turn out tender, juicy and flavorful when cooked over an open fire.

- 1 pound mushrooms - white or baby portabella
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ cup steak rub
Wash mushrooms under cool running water, brushing away any debris. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
Place mushrooms in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
Sprinkle with dry rub and toss to coat until completely covered.
Thread onto skewers.
Grill over indirect fire, about 350° with the grill closed about 7 - 8 minutes.
Turn the skewers and continue to cook another 6-8 minutes until mushrooms are softened and start to caramelize.
Remove from grill and tent with foil to keep warm until ready to serve.
Store leftover mushrooms in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days.
Reheat mushrooms in a skillet coated with olive oil over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally until heated through.
