- 2 pound salmon filet
- ¼ cup real maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, pepper and dry mustard.
Prepare a grill fire to 325° using pecan for smoke flavor.
Place salmon on the grill over indirect fire with the skin side down.
Brush maple glaze over salmon in a thick layer. Close the grill and cook 5 minutes.
Add another layer of glaze over the salmon. Continue to cook until the salmon reaches 145° using a digital meat thermometer.
Remove salmon from the grill onto a baking sheet. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
Store and Reheat:
- Store salmon wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
- Reheat in a skillet with melted butter or a little olive oil over medium heat, flip after about 2 minutes and continue to cook until heated through.
