Maple Glazed Salmon

Maple Glazed Salmon is a delicious meal to make on the grill that is quick and easy. Salmon is a light but very satisfying dinner that you can feel good about feeding your family.

Ingredients

  • 2 pound salmon filet
  • ¼ cup real maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, pepper and dry mustard.
  • Prepare a grill fire to 325° using pecan for smoke flavor.
  • Place salmon on the grill over indirect fire with the skin side down. 
  • Brush maple glaze over salmon in a thick layer. Close the grill and cook 5 minutes.
  • Add another layer of glaze over the salmon. Continue to cook until the salmon reaches 145° using a digital meat thermometer.
  • Remove salmon from the grill onto a baking sheet. Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store and Reheat:

  • Store salmon wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days. 
  • Reheat in a skillet with melted butter or a little olive oil over medium heat, flip after about 2 minutes and continue to cook until heated through.
