The best steak rub is a super simple spice mix to make for grilling steaks, roast beef or your favorite burgers. Keep this dry rub on hand for all of your grilling recipes.

brown sugar

granulated garlic

Instructions
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic, black pepper, kosher salt, chili powder, thyme and smoked paprika.
Store in an airtight container in pantry for up to 3 months.
Stir with a fork to loosen any brown sugar clumps before using.
Notes
Use 1 to 2 tablespoons per pound of beef.
