Maple BBQ Chicken Wings

Maple BBQ Wings are beyond delicious to make on the grill with plenty of smoky goodness and then slathered in our amazing homemade Maple BBQ Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup Maple BBQ Sauce recipe below

Instructions

  • Prepare a grill fire to about 300° with pecan or hickory.
  • Pat wings dry with paper towels. 
  • Grill wings over indirect fire with the lid closed about 20 minutes.
  • Pour about a cup of maple bbq sauce into a large bowl, add wings and stir to coat.
  • Return wings to the grill and continue to cook about 10 minutes until wings reach 165° with a digital thermometer.

Notes

How to Store and Reheat:
  • Store smoked chicken wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
  • Wings can be frozen in a freezer bag or Vacuum Sealer bag for up to 3 months. 
  • Preheat oven to 350°. Place wings on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with additional bbq sauce. Cook for about 
  • If reheating from frozen, brush with additional sauce and heat covered with foil for about 30 minutes.
