Honey Garlic Chicken

- 2 pounds chicken tenders
- 1 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 ½ teaspoons granulated garlic
- 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
- fresh parsley for garnish optional
Cut chicken tenders into about 1 1/2 - 2 inch chunks.
Grill over indirect fire at about 300° with hickory for smoke flavor with the grill lid closed.
Cook for about 10- 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165° using a digital thermometer.
Remove chicken from the grill and set aside.
Prepare the sauce by adding honey, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper and red pepper together in a skillet.
Cook over medium heat until mixture starts to bubble. Add grilled chicken and toss to coat.
Remove chicken to a serving dish and garnish with parsley.
Serve with toothpicks for an easy appetizer or serve over rice pilaf for a delicious dinner.
Stovetop Method: Cook chicken in a skillet with 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat until browned on all sides, about 8 - 10 minutes.
Mix sauce ingredients together in a bowl, pour over chicken and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring to coat chicken in sauce.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat with 1 - 2 tablespoons of water. Cook, stirring often until heated through, about 5 minutes.
