Garlic Butter Steaks

Garlic Butter Steaks are so easy to grill for any night of the week. Tender and juicy ribeye steaks are seared with a delicious dry rub and finished with garlic and herb butter.

Ingredients

  • 4 Ribeye Steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard

For the Garlic Butter

  • ¼ cup softened butter
  • ½ tablespoon minced fresh rosemary or ground rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon minced fresh garlic or granulated garlic

Instructions

  • Prepare a grill fire to about 300° using hickory or oak for smoke flavor.
  • Pat steaks dry with paper towels and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Combine brown sugar, granulated garlic, smoked paprika, basil, salt, pepper and dry mustard. Rub onto all sides of steaks.
  • Mix up the garlic butter by combining softened butter, rosemary and garlic in a small bowl. Set aside while you grill the steaks.
  • Place steaks over direct fire and grill 2 minutes to sear. Flip steaks and place over indirect heat. Continue to cook for 5- 7 minutes or until steaks reach desired internal temperature, 145° for medium.
  • Remove steaks from grill and top each with a tablespoon of garlic butter. Allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
