- 4 Ribeye Steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
For the Garlic Butter
- ¼ cup softened butter
- ½ tablespoon minced fresh rosemary or ground rosemary
- ½ teaspoon minced fresh garlic or granulated garlic
Prepare a grill fire to about 300° using hickory or oak for smoke flavor.
Pat steaks dry with paper towels and drizzle with olive oil.
Combine brown sugar, granulated garlic, smoked paprika, basil, salt, pepper and dry mustard. Rub onto all sides of steaks.
Mix up the garlic butter by combining softened butter, rosemary and garlic in a small bowl. Set aside while you grill the steaks.
Place steaks over direct fire and grill 2 minutes to sear. Flip steaks and place over indirect heat. Continue to cook for 5- 7 minutes or until steaks reach desired internal temperature, 145° for medium.
Remove steaks from grill and top each with a tablespoon of garlic butter. Allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

- Medium Rare: 140°
- Medium: 155°
- Well Done: 165°
