Homemade Chili Seasoning

Homemade Chili Seasoning is great to have on hand for all of your favorite chili recipes. Nothing fills you up on a cold night like a big bowl of chili and with a homemade seasoning blend, it can be as mild or spicy as you prefer.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup ancho chili powder
  • ¼ cup granulated garlic
  • ¼ cup granulated onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons coarse black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustar

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix with a fork or whisk until well blended and no lumps remain.
  • Store in an airtight container up to 6 months. Stir before using.

Notes

For Spicy Chili Seasoning, add 1 -3 teaspoons cayenne pepper.
Double recipe as needed.
Use 1/2 cup per pound of meat for chili.
Great to season: Beef, Venison or Pork.
