- 18 ounces plum preserves
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground chili flakes or red pepper
Add plum preserves, brown sugar, pineapple juice, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and salt to a saucepan.
Whisk until combined and cook over medium heat. Cook, stirring often until brown sugar is dissolved and sauce is heated through, about 8 - 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour into jars. Cool to room temperature.
Cover with an airtight lid and refrigerate up to 3 months.
Use plum sauce as a grilling glaze or dipping sauce.
Double recipe as needed.
