Ground Beef Kabobs

Ground Beef Kabobs are like the best burgers on a stick. Tender, juicy and full of flavor. Great for cookouts, tailgating and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prepare a grill fire to 400° with pecan or hickory chunks for smoke flavor.
  2. Mix ground beef with egg, onion and dry rub in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
  3. Use a 1/4 cup measure to divide the beef mixture into portions.
  4. Form into about a 4 x 2 x 1/2 inch oblong patty.
  5. Place a skewer in the center of each patty and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Transfer skewers onto hot grill over indirect fire. Cook with the grill closed about 5- 8 minutes.
  7. Turn skewers and continue to cook until internal temperature reaches 165°.
  8. Remove to a serving platter and garnish with parsley.
  9. Serve with burger sauce and bbq sauce.

Notes

Remove skewers and store leftovers wrapped in plastic wrap or foil, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.

Reheat in a covered skillet with a tablespoon of water over medium-heat for 5- 8 minutes.
