Butterflied  Chicken Legs

Pat chicken dry with paper towels. 

Slice the chicken down to the bone, longwise. 

Pull the meat away from the bone to flatten.

Coat with olive oil and dry rub.

Place on a hot grill with pecan chunks for smoke flavor.

Cook about 10 minutes. Flip the chicken. 

Brush with BBQ Sauce and continue to cook about 10 minutes.

Flip and baste with bbq sauce. Cook another 5 minutes or until chicken reaches 180°. 

Remove from grill. 

Serve immediately.
