Followed the recipe, but added a few juniper berries , which I ground up with the spices, plus about 1/2 cup of fresh cranberries that I minced and cooked with the butter and garlic. Fabulous recipe…thank you for sharing this.

I made this for my husbands birthday dinner and it was one of the best venison recipes by far! And very easy too. He loved it and we will defenitely be making it again!
