Grilled Corn on the Cob is one of our go to side dishes but this Grilled Cream Corn Recipe is definitely a favorite. This is not the cafeteria creamed corn we all grew up with!

When we are entertaining or hosting for the holidays, our pellet grill is super handy for cooking side dishes. This grilled creamed corn cooks in about 30 minutes and will compliment any steak dinner, grilled pork chops or serve it up alongside your Thanksgiving Turkey.

Ingredients Needed

  • Frozen Corn 
  • Cream Cheese
  • Minced Garlic
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Kosher Salt
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Cooked Bacon
  • Parsley

Step By Step Directions

  • Add butter, cream cheese and minced garlic in a skillet.

  • Place over medium heat, cooking just until the butter and cream cheese are melted.

  • Add the frozen corn, smoked paprika and kosher salt.

  • Add the shredded cheddar.

  • Mix well.

  • Place on a grill at 350°, cook with the grill closed.
  • Cook for 15 minutes, stir to mix well.

  • Continue to cook 15 minutes or until corn is bubbly around the edges and heated through.

  • Remove from grill, stirring to mix well.

  • Chop the bacon and sprinkle over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

How to Store and Reheat

Store corn in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.

Reheat in a skillet with a splash of milk or cream and cook over medium heat, stirring until heated through.

Ingredients

  • 2 bags 10 ounces each frozen corn
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley optional garnish

Instructions

  • Melt butter and cream cheese in a skillet with the minced garlic over medium heat.
  • Add the frozen corn, seasoning with smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Stir in the shredded cheese.
  • Cook over a 350° grill fire with the lid closed for 15 minutes. Stir to mix well.
  • Continue cooking another 15 minutes or until corn is bubbly around the edges and cooked through.
  • Remove from the grill. Stir until well combined.
  • Top with crumbled bacon and garnish with parsley.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftover corn in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
Reheat in a pan with a splash of milk or cream. Cook over medium heat until heated through.
